“For now the Lord hath made room for us...”

On February 12, 2023, Pastor D. Robinson and two families totaling four people stepped out on faith to launch the Rehoboth Faith Tabernacle Church. With a word from God, we committed ourselves to prayer, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and intentional community impact. As the months progressed, we celebrated more souls being added to this ministry and one soul being baptized in Jesus’ name. In this first year, our faith and expectation produced wonderful results!

We have partnered with ministries in Katy, TX such as Katy Prays, Compassion Katy, and Katy Christian Ministry. We participated in a Katy ISD Backpack Giveaway, Angel Tree Adopt-A-Family program, and a Thanksgiving meal giveaway in our first year. We were also thrilled to host our official pastoral installation and the 1st Women's Empowerment Weekend. It's amazing to see God's work in action! Additionally, we had the opportunity to fellowship with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. and join the Texas State Council in June 2023.

This has been a busy year!

We have intentionally built a true community. As a result, we have hosted family fellowships that include Taste of Katy, quarterly dinners, and an Ugly Christmas sweater service. We have seen God work miracles, provide resources, and astound us. We can boldly declare that the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land! Entering year 2, we have experienced growth with new families added to the ministry and moved to new locations. We are especially grateful for all those who have supported Rehoboth during the building process.
